US Imports of Unwrought Manganese Flake Increase

[Ferro-Alloys.com]The US imported 1,320.8 mt of unwrought manganese flake containing at least 99.5% Mn in August and 14,972.7 mt in the first eight months of 2012 vs. 909.4 mt and 9,785.9 mt, respectively, in the same 2011 periods.
 

 In August,China supplied 706.3 mt and 9,711.6 mt in the first eight months of 2012 while South Africa shipped 552.4 mt and 4,700 mt, respectively, in the same periods.
