[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to Iran Industrial and Mining Ministry said that it has proposed in the final meeting last week decided to increase steel import tariffs from March 20, 2016 to March 20, 2017.

During the meeting, for import duties the final draft has been finalized, the import duties referred to in the discussion at the next session of the government, which will be approved after review.

According to market sources said that steel import tariffs will increase by 15%. Currently, Iran’s steel import tariffs are between 10% to 20%.
