[Ferro-Alloys.com]Recently, the Turkish steel mills have increased the purchase of foreign scraps as they forecasted the international scrap prices would rise further.

It’s learned that the Turkish steelmakers purchased the US HMS 80:20 (1&2O) with prices of USD390/ton C&F recently.

At the same time, it’s said that a Turkish steel mills ordered 30,000 tons of HMS 70:30 (1&2), 5,000 tons of shredded scraps and 5,000 tons of P&S scraps from European supplier with prices of USD375/ton C&F, USD405/ton C&F and USD410/ton C&F respectively.
