[Ferro-alloys.com] Aluminothermy chrome metal prices rose higher to $4.25 to $4.75 per lb, ex warehouse. Some sources reported that strained US-Russian relations, tighter supply and rising production costs contributed to the appreciation. Spot activity, however, is still fairly small despite some expectations that prices could further rise before next quarter.
