[ferro-alloys.com] The China main stainless steel mills such as TISCO, Baosteel, ZPSS and JISCO published their Sep. purchase price of HC ferrochrome since the last week. The TISCO price was RMB6700yuan/mt (USD1098/mt, including VAT, CASH), down RMB50yuan/mt (USD8.19/mt). On the contrary, the ZPSS raised by RMB 100yuan/mt (USD16.39/mt), the price was RMB7000yuan/mt(USD1147.5/mt, including VAT,CASH ). The other two mills maintained the same level with the August month. So, the whole market had not appeared the good atmosphere as the traditional demand regulation in the September.

 

At present, the market mainstream HC ferrochrome quotations (ex-work, vat) were as following. InnerMongolia,RMB6700-6800yuan/mt(USD1098-1114/mt,).Sichuan,RMB6800-6900yuan/m(USD1114-1131/mt,).Shanghai,RMB6900-7000yuan/mt(USD,)ShanxiRMB6900-7000yuan/mt(USD1131-1147/mt,)some dealers said that the whole rate of operation was not high because of the low profit ,the spot goods supply was tight.

 

In middle of August, the low carbon ferrochrome price basically kept the low stable situation. The fact demand was not high. The low carbon ferrochrome C25 was offered at RMB12100-12300/mt (USD1983-2016/mt, ex-work, vat). The low carbon ferrochrome C10 was offered at RMB12300-12400/mt (USD2016-2023/mt, ex-work, vat). A producer said that they only produced as the order owing to low profit.

 

Since the steel mills price had not been improved obviously, and the whole capacity was more than market demand, with the influence of the import ferrochrome, so the ferrochrome market would keep the low and weak trend in recent time.
