【Ferro-alloys.com】: Wildcat Resources’ Bolt Cutter Central discovery is emerging as a key part of a growing lithium hub in Western Australia’s Pilbara.
Final assay results from the company’s 2025 drilling campaign have extended lithium mineralisation to more than 2km in a north-westerly direction and up to 800m to the north-east, representing a more than 40 per cent increase in the interpreted discovery footprint.
A continuous 1.6km drill section returned mineralised pegmatite along its entire length, with the system remaining open at both ends.
The results point to a substantial mineralised system, with multiple stacked pegmatite dykes that appear to repeat at depth and along strike. This geometry supports the potential for significant resource growth as exploration continues.
Strategically, Bolt Cutter Central sits approximately 10km west of Wildcat’s Tabba Tabba project, strengthening its potential role within the company’s broader Pilbara development strategy.
“We see potential for Bolt Cutter as a potential satellite operation to the flagship Tabba Tabba lithium project,” research and analysis firm Shaw and Partners Financial Services said. “By discovering a major deposit on already granted mining leases and securing Native Title, Wildcat has bypassed years of typical permitting delays.”
Diamond drilling is scheduled to commence this month, aiming to expand the scale of the project at depth and faciliate metallurgical test work.
In parallel, RC drilling planned for the March quarter will step out and infill the discovery area to support future resource modelling.
Wildcat remains well funded, with $51.2 million in cash as at September 30, 2025, providing flexibility to advance both exploration and development.
