The electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaker announced it would keep its discrete plate prices flat at $1,480/short ton (st) ex-works and was opening its April books for new orders, according to an announcement from 16 February.
 
Cut-to-length prices range from $1,480-1,540/st ex-works, while quenched and tempered prices are at $2,295/st ex-works. Normalized grade A516-70 plate ex-works pricing is at $1,680/st.
 
The Argus US plate ex-works assessment has been relatively flat since early December between $1,454-1,480/st. argusmedia
