Electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaker Nucor has kept its plate prices flat.
The company updated its pricing for June orders this afternoon, keeping base plate ex-works prices flat at $1,910/short ton (st).
The move to keep prices flat comes less than a month after Nucor increased base plate ex-works prices by $55/st.
The Argus plate ex-works assessment was flat at $1,928.75/st in the last week, and is up by 7.6pc from the yearly low of $1,793/st recorded on 1 March. (argusmedia)
