Japanese nickel ore imports in February up by 2.4%

According to statistics released by Japan's Ministry of Finance, Japan's nickel ore imports totaled 353,809 metric tonne in February 2013, falling by 2.9% MoM and up 2.4 % compared to February 2012.
 
Meanwhile, in the first two months of 2013 Japan's nickel ore imports amounted to 718,187 metric tonne, increasing by 8.5% YoY. The value of these imports came to RMB 4.3 billion, rising by 4.6% compared to the same period of 2012.
