[Ferro-Alloys.com] It was reported that on June 3, US International Trade Commission (ITC) had voted unanimously whether steel rail tie wire from China and Mexico have injured the US industry or not.

Unexpectedly, USA ITC respected that pre-stressed concrete steel rail tie wire from China and Mexico has injured the US industry.

Therefore, the US government will levy anti-dumping duties on steel wire from China and Mexico. Chinese and Mexican producers and exporters will have to face anti-dumping duties ranging from 31.40% to 35.31% and 9.99% respectively.

The import values were estimated at US$31.1 million in the previous year, according to the department.
