[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is reported that Japan’s stainless steel mills have settled contract prices of low carbon ferrochrome at average USD 199.5 cents per lb in the Q2 this year, an increase of USD 2.5-3.5 cent per pound compared to the last month.
There is the second consecutive quarter for price increases. Meanwhile, some market participants said that Japan’s domestic manufacturers are facing supply shortages of low carbon ferrochrome.
