According to the latest Customs statistic, China exported 66,317 tons of ferroalloys in July 2014, violently up by 101.86% Y-O-Y. Meanwhile, China imported 161,096 tons of ferroalloys in July, up by 23.8% Y-O-Y.

World crude steel production for the 65 countries reporting to the World Steel Association (worldsteel) was 137 million tonnes (Mt) in July 2014, an increase of 1.7% compared to July 2013.

According to the statistic, Chinese calcium carbide production was 2.018 million tons in July, up by 19.9% Y-O-Y. However, it dropped 9.5% compared with than in Jun 2014. In Jan-Jul, 2014, total production was 13.82 million tons, up by 8.7% Y-O-Y.
