Exports of Chinese FeSi Decreased Greatly in August of 2014

[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is reported that China totally imported 1.449 million tons of manganese ore during August, registering a slight downturn comparing to 1.523 million tons m-o-m according to data provided by China Custom Statistics.

World crude steel production for the 65 countries reporting to the World Steel Association (worldsteel) was 135 million tonnes (Mt) in August 2014, an increase of 1.4% compared to August 2013.

According to statistic National Bureau of Statistic of China, Chinese ferroalloy production in August was 3.07 million tons, up by 1.8% Y-O-Y. And the production was totally 24.587 million tons in Jan-Aug of 2014, up by 7.6% Y-O-Y.
