China's coal industry reports steady growth in 2019.

The 5G network in Yangquan's subsidiary, Xinyuan, is the country's first commercial 5G service under a coal mine shaft. It is built in partnership with China Mobile and Huawei.

As a province that used to rely heavily on coal mining, Shanxi in North China is now diversifying its economy through industrial reform.
