China's raw coal output posted stable expansion in October, official data showed.

China is the world's largest importer of iron ore, with imports exceeding 917 million tons in the first 10 months of 2022.

The province saw a decrease in imports of iron ore and natural gas.

BRICS is the acronym for an emerging-market bloc that groups Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.

The province's total import and export value from January to October hit 282.46 billion yuan ($39.73 billion), up 16.4 percent year-on-year.

Among them, Inner Mongolia imported 19.13 billion yuan of coal from Mongolia, up 150.1 percent year-on-year.

"Our station generates 1.7 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity yearly. It saves 557,000 tonnes of coal and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 1.7 million tonnes."
