[Ferro-Alloys.com]The Ministry of Industries and Mines of Iran currently said that the country will become an exporter of steel ingot soon, driven by some largest steel projects in the country.
According to statistics released by World Steel, Iran’s steel production in 2011 totaled 13 million tons and it’s predicted that Iran’s steel output would grow significantly this year.
At present, Iran’s annual steel production capacity is at around 20 million tons. It’s forecasted that the country’s steel production would reach 48 million tons with the next 4-5 years.
