[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to statistics released by the French Steel Federation (FFA), France produced 1.296 million tons of crude steel in September, down by 3% year on year.
Among them, the crude steel output produced by electric furnaces totaled 573,500 tons, up by 2.6% and that produced by blast furnaces was at 696,400 tons, decreasing by 7.1%, both compared to that in the same period of a year ago.
In the first nine months of this year, the country’s crude steel production amounted to 12.05 million tons, up by 1.1% year on year.
