[Ferro-Alloys.com]  Critical Minerals Group have intersected shallow vanadium and alumina in the last 23  holes at its wholly owned Lindfield project near the town of Julia Creek in northwest Queensland.

The core samples have shown consistent thickness and grades, revealing potential for a dual commodity resource with a significant extension already defined.

Standout assays include 15.89m – 16.22m @ 0.70%, 6.50m – 6.90m @ 0.62% and 6.90m – 7.05m @ 0.65% vanadium oxide strikes alongside a 1m thick intercept grading at 18.9% aluminium oxide with noted potential as a feedstock for high purity alumina.

The Alumina content discovered in the Lindfield Project potentially opens up a whole new high value product to our Vanadium deposit, with the potential for a dual commodity mining project,” CMG chief executive and managing director Scott Drelincourt said.

”Metallurgical analysis is underway and has early-stage indications that the Lindfield Project Alumina may be suitable for HPA production.

“We are very much looking forward to completing this analysis to see the value-add potential the Alumina brings to the Lindfield Project.”

Next Steps

CMG have accelerated its scoping study over Lindfield with strong confidence from both geology and results, with returns from resource upgrade works due in the second quarter of 2023.
