Energy production in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the first quarter of 2021

  In the first quarter, the production of raw coal, electric power and oil products in the whole region (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the same below) increased steadily. Taking the first quarter of 2019 as the base period, the average growth of raw coal and oil production in two years is basically stable, while the growth of power production is relatively fast.

  1、 Stable growth of raw coal production

  In the first quarter, the industrial raw coal output above designated scale in the whole region was 20.442 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 7.7%, 9.5% higher than that in the first quarter of 2019, and an average growth of 4.7% in two years. Among them, 19.08 million tons of general bituminous coal, an increase of 8.2%; 1.133 million tons of coking bituminous coal, an increase of 26.8%; 320000 tons of anthracite, down 39.9%.

  In the first quarter, the sales volume of industrial raw coal above designated scale in the whole region was 18.95 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%. By the end of March, the raw coal inventory of the whole region was 2.237 million tons, and the inventory turnover days was 11 days.

  In the first quarter, the output of industrial coke above designated scale (2635,32.50,1.25%) was 2.504 million tons, up 15.6% year on year.

  2、 Rapid growth of power production

  In the first quarter, the industrial power generation of the whole region was 55.05 billion kwh, with a year-on-year growth of 24.6%, an increase of 30.1% over the first quarter of 2019, and an average growth of 14.1% in two years.

  In terms of varieties, the thermal power generation capacity was 43.74 billion kwh, an increase of 20.1% and an average increase of 11.3% in two years; Wind power generation reached 7.23 billion kwh, an increase of 57.9%, with an average increase of 32.3% in two years; Solar power generation reached 3.74 billion kwh, an increase of 32.9%, with an average increase of 20.9% in two years.

  In the first quarter, the power generation of hydropower, wind power, solar energy and other renewable energy in the region was 11.31 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 45.7%, 35.4 percentage points faster than that in the same period of last year and 51.7 percentage points faster than that in the first quarter of 2019.

  3、 Steady growth of oil production

  In the first quarter, the crude oil processing capacity of the whole region was 1.057 million tons, an increase of 8.0% over the same period last year, an increase of 2.3% over the first quarter of 2019, and an average increase of 1.1% in two years.

  In the first quarter, the crude oil output of Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size in the region was 322000 tons, up 7.6% year on year.

  In the first quarter, gasoline output was 484000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.0%; The output of diesel oil was 536000 tons, an increase of 4.3%; The output of naphtha was 412000 tons, an increase of 9.9%.
