According to Customs figures showed in last December, Taiwan imported 130,119 tons of steel slab, mainly from Russia. It estimates the steel slab imports expects to fall by 6.7% this year, compared to the same period of last year.

Among the, Taiwan imported 100,101 tons of steel slab from Japan; imported 30,009 tons of steel slab from Russia.
