There might be a price gap of RMB 1,000 on quotation prices of cored wires of same grade and package. Some enterprises believe that fierce price wars would ruin the industry, making all lose money.

Batou Nuoda Metal Technology Co., Ltd is a company engaging in making cored wires and calcium related products.

Now they run 2 lines mainly producing FeCa, CaSi cored wires. Calcium related products include calcium block, calcium granule.

Assistant Manager of Nuoda introduced that their cored wires machines have high levels on automation and can be handled by only one person, thus personnel cost is low.

He is concerned with current chaotic quotation situation and believes that no deal can be reached at two low a price. Some companies offer such low prices and this could mess up the whole industry. He hopes that industry associations on cored wires and calcium products will be set up soon to better regulate the industry and promote its healthy development.
