[Ferro-alloys.com] Cold-rolled strip steel is one of the major raw materials of cored wire. According to recent investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, cold-rolled strip steel price decreased in China as demand from cored wire market was weak. In Hebei and Shandong province, the major production areas of cored wire strip steel, mainstream ex-work price of 0.35*55 strip steel dropped from RMB 4000-4200/mt (USD645-USD677/mt) to RMB 3800-4000/mt (USD613-USD645/mt) recently. There was little profit for strip steel manufacturers at present and market price was mainly supported by production cost.
