China’s CaSi Market Ran Flat in Early April (March 31st–April 4th)

[Fellow]Transaction of CaSi products was normal on spot market. Most orders were from old clients and the trading price was based on the mainstream quotation.
[Ferro-Alloys.com]In early April, calcium silicon market ran flat in China. Ex-work price of CaSi30# was RMB11,600-11,800/mt (USD1,902-1,934, export duty excluded) and 28# was RMB11,300-11,500/mt (USD1,853-1,885, export duty excluded) in Anyang, Henan province. Export price of CaSi30# was USD2,200-2,250/mt FOB, CaSi28# USD2,150-2,200/mt FOB at Tianjin port.
 
Transaction of CaSi products was normal on spot market. Most orders were from old clients and the trading price was based on the mainstream quotation. In terms of the export market, there were few inquiries and the dealing price hang upside down. Export deals were hard to make.
 
Considering the stable demand from downstream market, it’s thought that CaSi market may continue the smooth condition in a short time.
