According to the statistics of US International Trade Commission, American ferroalloy export volume was 10,167 mt in September 2014, slightly up by 1.5% M-O-M and up by 14.4% Y-O-Y. The total export volume in Jan-Sep of 2014 was 97,700mt, up by 10.2% Y-O-Y.

On October 30, Japan Aluminium Alloy Refiners Association released the result of demand & supply for silicon metal and the result of production of secondary aluminium alloy products in September 2014.

According to the statistics of Japan Customs, Japan’s ferroalloy export volume was 15260 mt in September of 2014, down by 4.9% M-O-M and down by 25.6% Y-O-Y. The total export volume in Jan-Sep of 2014 was 180437 mt, up by 11.6% Y-O-Y.
