China's calcium metal export data in May 2022

The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) reported that for the month of April 2022, U.S. steel mills shipped 7,629,985 net tons.

US domestic raw steel production was 1,784,000 net tons while the capability utilization rate was 81.7 percent.

Finished Import Market Share Estimated at 24 Percent in May.

China imported 92.517 million tons of iron ore, a month on month decrease of 1.227 million tons, a decrease of 1.4%.

In late May 2022, key iron and steel enterprises produced 25.5119 million tons of crude steel, 22.5128 million tons of pig iron and 24.9286 million tons of steel.
