[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported 24,529 tons of stainless coils in August, declining by 20% year on year and falling by 24% in comparison of 32,204 tons in July.

In August, Taiwan was the largest exporter of stainless coils to Turkey with 5,109 tons; German was the second largest one with 2,829 tons and South Korea was the third largest one with 2,467 tons.

In the first eight months of this year, Taiwan’s imports of stainless coils amounted to 245,926 tons, rising by 7.2% year on year.
