EU’s Imports of Steel Products Decline by 35% y-o-y in August

[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to statistics released by the Eurofer, the EU’s imports of steel products totaled 1.005 million tons in August, falling by 15.89% from a month ago and decreasing by 34.65% year on year.
 
Among them, 839,000 tons were steel flat products and 166,000 tons were steel long products.
 

In the first eight months of this year, the EU imported 9.673 million tons of steel products, declining by 34.65% year on year.
