ILZSG: Global Zinc Market in 152,000-Ton Surplus Jan-June

[Ferro-Alloys.com] The global refined zinc market was in surplus by 152,000 metric tons in the first six months of 2012, the International Lead and Zinc Study Group said Tuesday.
 
The gap was smaller than the 243,000-ton surplus in same period of 2011.
 
In January to June, total production reached 6.362 million tons of refined zinc, while consumption was 6.210 million tons, it said.
