South Africa PPI Basic Iron and Steel Industry up by 1.4pct in Feb

[Ferro-alloys.com]According to data provided by Statistics South Africa, South Africa’s producer price index for the basic iron and steel industry increased by 1.4% from a month ago and was up by 2.6% year on year.
 
In February, the country’s PPI for exported basic iron and steel increased by 0.7% from the previous month while falling by 7.1% year on year.
 
Besides, South Africa’s PPI for imported basic iron and steel in February kept stable on the basis of year on year and month on month.
