[Ferro-Alloys.com]Germany-based Salzgitter's subsidiary Peiner Träger announced to raise the prices of its section steel products by €100/ton for European region, effective from November 26th.
The firm stated that it decided to raise prices as the scrap prices have increased recently and its section steel prices have stayed at low level since this year.
At the same time, Salzgitter forecasted that the stocks of section steel products would stay at low level by the end of this year, helping to stimulate demand in next January.
