On March 19, ferrosilicon futures closed higher in daytime trading at the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active ferrosilicon contract for March 2024 delivery closed at 6550 yuan per tonne.

The total trading volume of 2403 contract on the exchange was 137264 lots, with a turnover of about 4469.1666 million yuan.

The number of warehouse receipts was 12280 (61400 tons), and 603 (3015 tons) were valid for the number of warehouse orders.
