[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, the price of U.S dollor went down. Relatively, the LME nickel price kept rising. By the end of trading, the LME nickel was quoted at 13875 USD/T. It was 190 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day. Today, affected by the rising of LME nickel price and declining of nickel inventories in domestic and overseas markets, the price of Shanghai future nickel went on rising. Compared to Wuxi 1808 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 100 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1900 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel (big board) at 115200 RMB/T. It was 1200 RMB/T higher than the price yesterday.

Encouraged by the rising of future nickel prices, 304 series stainless steel prices went up today, and so did the price of high grade ferronickel. The output of ferronickel was restricted, and the supply was insufficient in the market. So, the prices of ferronickel were in higher levels. Today, the high grade ferronickel was quoted at 1065-1090 RMB/Nickel in Inner Mongolia, and the prices of high grade ferronickel were 1070-1095 RMB/Nickel in Shandong, Jiangsu and Liaoning Provinces. The low grade ferronickel price maintained at 3250-3350 RMB/T
