[Ferro-Alloys.com]In recent days after the CNY, LME nickel price recovered slightly while the whole trend was still weak. On Feb.26th, LME nickel price closed at USD14395/mt, up by USD450/mt over the previous week. LME nickel stock was 427,596 tones, increasing by 1992tonnes. Since 2015, the rising trend of nickel stock lasted, which had increased by 2.8% in recent two months. In view of the technical Specifications, LME Ni price might fluctuated between USD14000-15000/mt in short term. On Feb.27th, Jinchuan nickel price was quoted at RMB105700-106000/mt.

In recent week, the low ferronikel price stayed at RMB2600-2650/mt. The medium and high FeNi price also maintained steady as medium FeNi (Ni4-6%) was at RMB1, 040-1,060/Ni, FeNi (Ni6-8%) at RMB1, 030-1,050/Ni, and high FeNi (Ni10-15%) was RMB1, 060-1,080/Ni. In Chinese market, the medium and high grade nickel ores price had no changes in recent months of 2015while the Philippines miners started to pull up the quotes since early Feb.. However, in the same time, the high ferronickel price continued to be weaker. Under high cost pressure, many FeNi enterprises were reluctant to recover the production at present.
