[Fellow]Iran Ferrosilice Co., Ltd- A Middle East Ferrosilicon Producer

Iran Ferrosilice Company (Public Joint Stock) was established in 1981 by a team of expert founders who had years of experience in the field of metal melting and foundry for the goal of producing ferrosiliconin standard grade with Si 75% and Al 2% max.

Main products of Iran Ferrosilice factory are ferrosilicon (Fesi 75%) and ferrosilicon magnesium (FeSiMg) and a by-product, micro-silica powder.

Ferrosilicon:

Production capacity of this product is 85MT per day and 25000MT per year.

Furnace and production line equipment are working continuously 24 hours a day and melting is done about 24 times every day. In addition, temperature of melting is about 1500?c degree.

Ferrosilicon magnesium:

Production capacity of this product is about 3000MT per year and in terms of quality it is competitive to similar foreign products.

Micro-silica powder:

Micro-silica powder is a by-product of the factory, in which obtains from dust collector system of electric arc furnace. Production capacity of this product is about 8000MT per year.

Founders of the company believed that industries which depend on raw materials shall develop and expand more than before, for satisfying this need, this company brought about independence of ferroalloy consumption for domestic metal melting and foundry industries from foreign suppliers with recruiting human resources, exploiting national resources and producing substantial ferrosilicon.

Iran Ferrosilice factory is established in a 500000 m2 area in Semnan.

This production plant utilizes a Mannesmann – Demag arc furnace, made in Germany, and has high-tech laboratory and quality control instruments for producing best quality ferrosilicon with Si 75% with a capacity of 85 MT per day and 25000 MT per year.
