From January to April, the output of crude steel, pig iron and steel in China was 336.15 million tons, 280.3 million tons and 426.82 million tons respectively.

In the week ending on May 7, 2022, domestic raw steel production was 1,777,000 net tons while the capability utilization rate was 81.4 percent.
