Metallurgical Si metal prices began to increase in the last week in August in China. And Chemical si metal prices remained firm. More orders made some factories turn prices up.

In late August, calcium silicon market in China was depressed. Most factories gave lower prices.

Si metal prices continued to keep stable and Metallurgical Si metal prices stopped declining in late August in China. Factories were dealing with previous orders. Chemical Si metal prices remained firm. It was benefited from better organosilicon trade.
