[Ferro-Alloys.com]More than 120 guests from the cored wire industry and relative industries attended the 9th Cored Wires Application & Industrial Chain Summit held on August 20-21 in Days Hotel Beijing New Exhibition Center. Related officials from Ferro-Alloy.com exchanged their opinions with the delegates about the CaSi & Calcium Metal market, both of which are the main raw materials of cored wires.
A catastrophic disaster was made by the Tianjin port explosion on August 12, and some calcium and CaSi companies lost their stock in the explosion, some producers stated during the event. It is still uncertain when the export returns normal in Tianjin port. After the Tianjin port explosion and the coming military parade for the 70th anniversary of the world’s anti fascism war, Chinese government will stop the export of hazardous chemicals, including calcium metal and CaSi. Thus, the producers couldn’t bid before the recovery of export of calcium metal and CaSi in Tianjin port. Other ports export little of these products duo to the higher fees.
