According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the country’s imports of stainless steel flat products totaled 41,700 tons in September, up slightly by 0.44% from a month ago and soaring by 63.19% year on year.

In September, Turkey’s import values generated by stainless steel flat products totaled US$95.92 million, rising by 3.55% from August and jumping by 49.25% year on year.

In the January-September period, the country’s imports of stainless steel flat products amounted to 350,797 tons, rising by 29.14% year on year. The import revenues totaled US$834.52 million, increasing by 18.29% year on year.
