[Ferro-Alloys.com]Since 2012, there were eight listed enterprises changed their main business to mining business (four not finished the procedure). Affected by the restricted export policies of the crude ores, the mining sector in stock market in Jakarta decreased 26.41% in 2012, while it had increased by 1.7% since 2013.

In 2012, two listed companies in Indonesia, PT Central Omega and PTJ Resource Asia Pacific had changed their securities trading and catering business into nickel and gold mining respectively. In the third quarter of 2012, the profit of these two companies had improved 112% and 346% comparing with the same period of 2011. The global economy still not optimistic and some natural resources, especially the mining companies were dragged down, but the mining operations had strong profitability. Besides, the Indonesia government to tighten the export policy of ores also pulled up the ores price by decreasing the whole supply in the international market.
