Aperam, one of the major stainless steel producers in Europe said that it will raise spot base prices for all its stainless steel products by EUR 50 per ton in Europe. The new price will become effective from February.
It’s learned that Aperam’s price rise was boosted by expected increases in demand from certain end-users and seasonal replenishments for stocks.
Aperam expected strong demand from sectors such as energy, oil and gas, and water treatment, chemicals and petrochemicals, and certain end users from food industry.
