Yesterday, LME nickel was quoted at 11335 USD/T. It was 55 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day. The price of LME nickel went up recently, and the trading volume was less in domestic market of future nickel, so the price of future nickel went up in Shanghai Future Exchange. Today, compared with Shanghai future nickel 2004 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was from 100 to 200 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 2000-2200 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 94000 RMB/T. It was 500 RMB/T higher than the price on last trading day.

The stainless-steel market was in downturn. So, the ferronickel price dropped down further. Today, the price of high-grade was 865-880 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
