[ferro-alloys.com]Due to shortage of investment volume, the Ministry of Indonesian Energy and Mines retarded its plan for the construction of nickel-aluminum smelting plants.

In order to quicken the construction of nickel-aluminum smelting plants, Indonesian Government started to forbid nickel ore export in January in 2020. However, the investment volume was seriously insufficient. More than 30% of smelting plants need to be invested by foreign capital.
