[ferro-alloys.com]Affected by the concern of global trade war and poor performance of Chinese economy data, the prices of many base metal went down including nickle. By the end of the trading, the LME nickle price was 14340USD/T yesterday. It was 225USD/T lower than the price on last trading day. In the morning, the price of future nickle went down in Shanghai Future Exchange. Compared to Wuxi 1807 contract, the premium of Russian nickle was 150RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickle was 350RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickle (big board) at 114300RMB/T. The mainstream price was 113900-114200RMB/T.

The domestic environmental protection inspection was still going on. Many factory  halted their production. So, the output of ferronickle was restricted. The inventory of ferronickle in steel plants was declining due to the consume of their production. However, the ferronickle manufactures kept their goods to maintain the price. Relatively, the high grade ferronickle price went up today. Besides, compared to the price last week, ZPSS raised their purchase price of high grade ferronickle this week. Today, the price of high grade ferronickle was 1080-1100RMB/Nickle, and the low grade ferronickle price was 3400-3450RMB/T
