According to statistics, Australia’s coal exports totaled 35.36 million tons in August, surging by 124.2% year on year.
In the given period of time, Japan was the largest importer of the Australian coals with 11.7 million tons, increasing by 5.4%; China was the second largest one with 5.66 million tons, dropping by 30.1% and South Korea was the third largest one with 5.05 million tons, rising by 23.9%, all compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
