France’s Vallourec to Supply 14,000 Tons of High Quality Tubes for Stampede Project

[Ferro-alloys.com] It is reported that France tube producer, Vallourec announced to supply 14,000 tons of high quality pipes to the US's Stampede project in Mexico Gulf. The project is located in Green Canyon area, which is about 115 miles from south of Louisiana's Fourchon. 

The project included 5000 tons of high quality oil pipes for deep ocean development purpose, some of high performance quality pipes are from Europe and Ohio. Meanwhile, the contract also includes 9000 tons of seamless steel pipe and steel catenary riser (SCR).
