2010 China Ferro-Alloys International Conference

2010 China Ferro-Alloys International Conference will be held on May 28-30, 2010 in Regent Hotel (Super Luxury 5 Stars), Shanghai, China. This is the 7th section conference organized by CCCMC (China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers and Exporters) and FACOM (www.ferro-alloys.com).
In 2009, ferroalloys market was collapsed due to low demands under the global economy crisis. The prices of main ferroalloys products were relatively tender at a low level which was inferior to half of the peak in 2008. But the total output of ferroalloys didn’t decrease even at low price. In Jan-Oct., China's ferroalloys Output was 17.49million tons that it was almost equal to the total output (18.25million tons) in 2008. And the export volume during Jan-Oct., was about 1.1million tons, which it was decreased by 60.3% year on year.
In 2010, Ferroalloys Market will be coming back much better than 2009, due to the world economy would recover and get much better and better. Chinese Steel Industry will be comprised stronger and about 600million tons capacity will bring more demands of its raw materials. In the long run, the pace of global economic recovery may accelerate, depreciation of the dollar may keep, prices of oils, transportation, electricity and raw materials may sharply rise, and China's economy may rapidly recover in 2010. All of the factors indicate 2010 will be the important year for ferroalloy industry recovery.
