South Korea ferrosilicon (Si>55%) imports decrease 12.83% in April 2022.

According to data of Korea Customs Service, in April 2022, South Korea imported 942 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight ≤55% of silicon), a month on month decrease of 33.79%.

According to data of Korea Customs Service, in April 2022, South Korea imported 17881.50 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon).

The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) reported that for the month of March 2022, U.S. steel mills shipped 7,835,600 net tons, a 1.4 percent decrease from the 7,950,431 net tons shipped in March 2021.
