Japan’s Ferroalloys Import up in September of 2014

According to the statistics of Japan Customs, Japan’s ferroalloy export volume was 15260 mt in September of 2014, down by 4.9% M-O-M and down by 25.6% Y-O-Y. The total export volume in Jan-Sep of 2014 was 180437 mt, up by 11.6% Y-O-Y.

Japan’s Calcium Carbide Import Down by 33.1% Y-O-Y in September of 2014

According to statistic of Japan Customs, Japan imported 173.4 tons of calcium carbide, down by 28.4% M-O-M and down by 33.1% Y-O-Y. The materials were mainly imported from China with import volume at 132 tons.
