Rio Tinto Plans to Increase Aluminum Output of 10% in Next Year

Global miner Rio Tinto (RioTinto) said recently that the company plans to increase its aluminum production output of 10%, despite global aluminum production surplus. It expects to produce about 2.6 million tons of aluminum in 2016.
