Canada Nickel Company (TSXV: CNC) has received Canadian government backing for C$4.38 million in funding to support the development of the company’s Crawford nickel sulphide project in Ontario.

The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), the largest government-owned steel producer in India, and resources company BHP, are collaborating to support steelmaking decarbonisation.

The placement will comprise 200-million new shares at A$0.05 a share, as well as 210-million unlisted options with an exercise price of A$0.075.
